To understand how religious changes and relational changes influence each other, in the fall of 2021 we will begin collecting data from hundreds of Americans who have experienced significant religious, spiritual, and relational changes. This new branch of the American Families of Faith project is called the RESTARTS project which stands for Relational Experiences, Spiritual Transitions, Attachments, Religious Transitions, and Sanctifications. We will obtain both quantitative and qualitative data from 2,000 American adults about the nexus of religious and relational changes.
